Mengqi works in both 2D and 3D art including sculpture, jewelry, and photography. Each piece she design tells a story and works to connect with the viewer on, a personal level. Then she worked as an Assistant Teaching professor in 3D foundation art at Pennsylvania State University for a year. Her work invites people to experience the narrative, struggles and cultures relate to food, make them question how food and human behavior affects each other.
